Love Displayed

Water flowing endlessly through rocky crevice high,
Eagles soaring with great strength to freedom through the sky.
Horses racing o’er the hills, a wild array of speed,
This great force of God displayed, yet He heals the broken reed.

Rivers rushing through earth’s veins, each course laid out by God,
Lightening crashing from the skies and rain brings life to sod.
Thunder cracks through darkest clouds and rolls throughout the night,
God’s course now pulsing in my chest brings peace and life and light.

Here I come, my God, to Thee, so broken deep within,
I kneel beneath Thy fountain, Lord, pour Thy power in me.
Soak my soul with love so great; it drips from me with grace,
Reveal Thy great and awesome Word, here in this holy place.

As I bow before your face, I feel your presence Lord
As lilies bloom, and sparrows sing, we dwell in one accord
My God, my soul so aches for you; hear my inmost plea
As great as your creation is, my soul it thirsts for thee
